Paul M McBride

Paul has advised in a number of significant mergers and acquisitions, management buy-outs, venture capital investments and project financings in Northern Ireland. Paul was originally called to the Northern Ireland Bar in 1990 before being admitted as a solicitor in Northern Ireland in 1993. He obtained a Masters Degree from Sidney Sussex College, University of Cambridge in corporate law and finance in 1991 and has been a partner in L'Estrange & Brett since 1998.

Paul has consistently been named as a “leader in the field” for corporate finance in Chambers UK Guide to the Legal Profession. He has been commended in Chambers for his “dedicated approach” and described as being “well organised and well prepared” and “courteous, organised and extremely responsive”. Paul’s IP and Technology team are ranked top in Northern Ireland by Legal 500 and also recognised as a leading IP/IT practice by Chambers, described as “responsive and commercial”, producing “stellar work” in commercial licensing agreements.
