The Queen's University of Belfast (LL.B Hons) 1996 and Certificate of Professional Legal Studies 1998.

Hilary Griffith graduated from Queens University, Belfast in 1996 (LLB Hons) in 1998 (CPLS). She joined McKinty & Wright Solicitors in 1996 where she qualified in 1998. She moved to L'Estrange & Brett in 1999.

Hilary specialises in mergers and acquisitions and management buy-outs representing clients across a wide spectrum of business sectors. She also advises on company business reorganisations, joint ventures, shareholder arrangements, venture capital investments and more general commercial law issues.

Hilary lectures on acquisitions at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies as part of the Advanced Company Law Course.

Hilary was named as a 'leader in the field' for corporate finance in Chambers UK Guide to the Legal Profession 2008 and was commended for how she 'really puts herself forward to get a deal done' with her "pragmatic, practical style" drawing plaudits from commentators.
