Education:
Oxford University (M.A) and The Queen's University of Belfast (Certificate of Professional Legal Studies).

Adam jointly heads up the firm’s Litigation Department. His principal area of work is in Employment and Discrimination law. He spends about half his time on contentious matters in Court/Tribunals and half on non-contentious Employment law, such as developing policies, advising on TUPE, EQIA etc. The contentious work includes the full range of employment and discrimination claims to Tribunals, especially covering religious/political discrimination, and in respect of goods and services, as well as High Court applications for injunctions, formal investigations by the Equality Commission etc.

Adam also advises on High Court matters such as partnership disputes, shareholder disputes, injunctive relief and IP cases.

Adam is a former Chairman and current Committee Member of the Employment Lawyers Group for Northern Ireland and a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. He contributes to various employment law books and websites. Adam is a leader in the field for Employment in Chambers UK Guide to the Legal Profession 2008 which describes him as being ‘client focused’.

Adam also has a practical interest in Charities Law, having an involvement with a range of charities and having been a Trustee of the RSPB for 9 years.
