Richard joined L'Estrange & Brett as a trainee in 2002 and is now an associate solicitor in the firm's corporate/commercial department.

Richard provides advice to clients on M&A, commercial and regulatory/competition issues. In addition, Richard has built up considerable experience in the energy sector (particularly gas, electricity and renewables) and is a member of the firm's Energy & Natural Resources unit, which is described by Chambers UK 2008 as "solid, switched-on and well respected".

Richard currently sits on the committee of the Company and Commercial Lawyers Group and is a mentor to the firm's trainees.
