Sam is a partner in the firm's litigation department. He deals with commercial disputes including construction and professional indemnity cases. He is also concerned with licensing applications.

He serves on the Contentious Business Committee of the Incorporated Law Society of Northern Ireland and sits on the Chancery Division Liaison Committee.

Sam was named as a 'leader in the field' for construction, dispute resolution and licensing in Chambers UK Guide to the Legal Profession 2008 and is described as being 'knowledgeable, sound and sensible.'
