Summer Placements 2008

The closing date has now passed for applications in relation to summer placements for 2008. Please note that no further applications will be considered.

Appilcations for summer placements in 2009 are welcome from November 08 onwards. Please check our website regularly for any udpates.

The following outlines the nature of our summer placment scheme.

During the summer months (July and August) we run a placement scheme which allows students to spend one or two weeks unpaid with us to experience life in a law firm. Application is by way of letter and CV addressed to Gill Warwick at L'Estrange & Brett.

We put together a structured programme for your placement with us to ensure you gain experience in each of our main departments - property, corporate/commercial and litigation - and you spend time with designated solicitors and apprentices each day so that you get the most from your placement with us.

Experience has shown that students who have completed two years of their degree course gain the most from a placement and, therefore, preference is given to those students where available places are over-subscribed.
