Quality Assurance

We believe that client care is the cornerstone of quality service. We aim to understand and focus on our client's individual objectives and requirements at all times with a view to providing a service tailored to the needs of each individual client.

The firm has enshrined key elements of its client care policy into its working practices, which have been independently audited and approved, culminating in the firm receiving certification to both ISO 9001 and the Law Society's Lexcel quality assurance standards.

ISO 9001:2000 is recognised as one of the foremost quality marks in industry, business and the professions. Lexcel was developed more recently by the English Law Society specifically for solicitors. It covers all aspects of practice management including, in particular, management structure, services and forward planning, financial management, office administration, managing people and case management. In Northern Ireland, the Lexcel scheme is run by the Law Society of Northern Ireland.

L'Estrange & Brett was the first commercial law firm in Northern Ireland to achieve dual Lexcel/ ISO accreditation. Indeed our ISO certification has recently been upgraded to ISO 9001:2000, the core emphasis of which is client care and continuous improvement.

We believe these certifications reflect external confirmation of our commitment to excellence.
