Law firm is flying high after airport sale...

L'Estrange & Brett is flying high following the recent sale of Belfast City Airport. Having been appointed as result of a competitive tender, the firm advised Spanish based Ferrovial group on its recent disposal of Belfast City Airport Limited to ABN AMRO Global Infrastructure Fund for a consideration of £132.5m. Ferrovial is the also majority shareholder in the consortium which owns BAA.

Commenting on the transaction Ferrovial's Corporate Development Director John Bruen said:

"We are used to using City of London advisers for our work in the UK, but following a competitive tender selected Belfast firm L'Estrange & Brett to advise us on the sale of Belfast City Airport Limited to ABN AMRO Global Infrastructure Fund. We were very pleased with the outcome and with the level of service provided, which was first class."
